Ashlynn & Dennis’ wedding weekend embodied everything that makes a celebration at Hawkesdene so personal. Their closest family and friends were invited to share in a full weekend of connection, celebration, and unhurried time together – moments to relax, slow down, and step away from everyday life. Ashlynn began the special day in the bridal salon, surrounded by her friends, being pampered and prepared for the festivities ahead.
The couple also incorporated a meaningful personal touch into their ceremony. Dennis’ fellow Navy service members wore their dress uniforms, as is customary for ceremonial occasions, while Dennis himself wore Navy dress whites. Following their vows, the newlyweds stepped forward together beneath a ceremonial Sword Arch, formed by fellow service members – an age-old naval tradition symbolizing honor, protection, and lifelong devotion. Framed by the mountains and surrounded by shipmates, family, and friends, the moment felt both timeless and deeply personal. This weekend was a true reflection of what an extended-stay destination wedding at Hawkesdene meant for this beautiful couple.
